Reading FC made it through to the Second Round of the 2023/24 FA Youth Cup after a 4-1 win at Oxford City on Tuesday night.
The Royals are one of two Berkshire sides still in the competition alongside town neighbours Reading City who host Exeter City on Thursday night.
Shay Spencer opened the scoring for Reading after just four minutes and further strikes from Kiyan Coke Miles Smith and Emmanuel Osho had the Royals 3-0 up at half time.

The Reading website reported a ‘commanding performance’ from the young Royals and Joseph Barough made it four in the second half before a consolation for the away side.
Reading are lead by former Royals midfielder Mikele Leigetwood and the youngsters will now eagerly await the FA Youth Cup Second Round draw.
