Liam Ferdinand sparked a Hungerford Town fightback on Saturday as the Crusaders fought back from 2-0 down at Dulwich Hamlet in the Vanarama National League South.
Its been a tough few weeks results wise for Ian Herring’s side but it was a tremendous second win of the season as first Liam Ferdinand pounced on 48 minutes and the former Bracknell Town striker had a hand in the second strike by Joe Tomlinson on 50 minutes.
Matt Jones then sealed the points for the Crusaders on 68 minutes with a deflected strike to lift the West Berkshire side off the bottom.

Slough Town picked up three points and made it eight games unbeaten as they defeated bottom side Hampton & Richmond Borough 3-1 with goals from Sam Togwell, Josh Jackson and this strike from Dan Roberts.

In the National League, Maidenhead United were beaten 1-0 at Barnet after Josh Walker scored for the Bees in the 66th minute.
Shane Cooper-Clark marked a return from injury for Bracknell on Saturday at Bedfont Sports, coming off the bench to score in the 86th minute after Charlie Losasso’s 67th minute opener. Nick Calvert’s full report on the Bracknell win is here.
Thatcham Town remain one of the two sides yet to taste defeat in the Southern League Division One South fixture at home to Bideford.
The Kingfishers were tested late on after a double from Kyle Tooze and strikes from Scott Rees and Felipe Barcelos had given them a 4-2 lead.
Jack Rice-Lethaby got his second goal for the visitors late on to apply some pressure on Thatcham but Danny Robinson’s side held on to stay second behind leaders Frome Town.
