The featured game, attended by Football in Berkshire was not short of controversy with Woodley United going out on penalties to Windsor after drawing 2-2 in normal time.

The scoring was opened with an absolute belter from Jake Sobalak who scored from 30 yards but and Ed Thomas double gave United the lead in the second half, the second from the penalty spot and Woodley were reduced to 10 men late on when Pele Hagger was shown a second yellow card.

There were three penalties in normal time, Woodley scored theirs but Windsor missed both of theirs, at least initially. The second penalty was taken by Adam Kirby who saw it well saved by Adam Thomson in goal – he got another chance though with the referee adjudging the ‘keeper to have come off his line.

Kirby scored at the second opportunity to seal a draw, but controversy followed during the shootout which finished 7-6 to Windsor – the referee Mr Kevin Bungay failing to consistently implement the rule he seemed so insistent on in the 90 minutes.

Chalvey Sports ran out 7-1 winners at home to Abingdon Town.
Ayden Christian-Coomber hit a hat trick while Richard Jeffery, Jason Marney and John Brennan all on the score sheet. The other goal came from an own goal.

Meanwhile, AFC Aldermaston were knocked out 4-2 on penalties after drawing 2-2 with Hellenic League Division Two South side Hazlemere Sports but Holyport did progress, beating Didcot Town Development 3-2 with goals coming from Wesley Sutherland, Josh Lowths and Alan Akerman.
