A competitive final pre season fixture for Binfield took place on Tuesday night at Hill Farm Lane against neighbours Bracknell Town.
The Moles emerged 3-2 winners against the newly promoted Robins with members of the Football in Bracknell WhatsApp group in attendance praising the intensity of Roger Herridge’s side.
Binfield go in to their Hellenic League Premier Division opener at Ardley United in good shape after this win while Bracknell open their Bostik League account on the 11th August at home.
New signing Danny Horscroft opened the scoring here only for Seb Bowerman to level things from the penalty spot.

There were plenty of changes at half time, but not before centre back Jeff Brown had restored Binfield’s lead and youngster Eddie Lee (pictured top) made it 3-1 after the break.
Bracknell player/manager Carl Davies did pull one back for the visitors but Binfield took the win.

Elsewhere Holyport lifted the Bluefin Sport Supplementary Cup on Tuesday night beating Flackwell Heath 2-0.
