Binfield manager Roger Herridge has confirmed the return of dynamic midfielder Danny Horscroft to Hill Farm Lane.

Horscroft was a key member of the Woodley United midfield that won promotion to the Hellenic League Premier Division in 2016/17 and fought gamely against the drop last season.

The midfielder played 44 times in all competitions for Woodley last season scoring 10 goals and last featured for Binfield during the 2015/16 season when he played 27 times scoring seven times.

Horscroft is a familiar face to Herridge as both were part of the setup at Wokingham & Emmbrook – the midfielder was a target for several clubs during the summer.

Herridge has kept the majority of his 2017/18 squad together with Ian Davies and James Knight both returning while the Moles have strength in depth at the back with the additions of Lewis Leonetti and Liam Gavin.
