Eversley & California lost their 100% record in the Festival of Football at Larges Lane after a 1-0 defeat to Binfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Boars won their previous two fixtures against Bracknell Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook and will go in to the final day with a rematch against the Robins who defeated Wokingham & Emmbrook 4-0.

Former Reading under 21 captain Aaron Kuhl was a surprise starter for Bracknell having been released by Reading at the end of last season but the midfielder wasted no time in getting on the scoresheet after 6 minutes.

Wokingham had chances but Chris Grace proved equal to them and Devontae Romeo (2) and Callum Whitty soon finished things off.

Results:

  • Binfield 1 – 0 Eversley & California
  • Wokingham & Emmbrook 0 – 4 Bracknell Town

The completion of the round robin stage means there are two fixtures left to play on Sunday with first vs second and third vs fourth. Here they are:

  • Final: 2pm Eversley & California vs Bracknell Town
  • Play-off: 6pm Binfield vs Wokingham & Emmbrook
