The Bracknell News has reported that Bracknell Town boss Mark Tallentire is keen on signing former Marlow midfielder Devontae Romeo.

The versatile midfield player scored in the 3-1 friendly win over Binfield at the weekend with Tallentire saying: “He can play in three or four positions, and I have liked what I have seen of him so far.

“Hopefully, we will sit down with him and have a chat about his future.”

The paper is also reporting the former Highmoor-IBIS and Thathcam Town defender Rob Garrard is on trial with the Robins while the club have confirmed the signature of Binfield striker Liam Ferdinand.

Windsor have captured ‘three or four targets’ according to first team coach Ashley Smith.

Speaking to the Windsor Observer Smith wouldn’t be drawn on identities but said: “We’re in a healthy position. We’ve captured targets but missed out on a few, but that’s part and parcel of the process.”

The Maidenhead Observer though revealed on Wednesday that former Fulham striker Barry Hayles was training with the club with a view to signing on for the season.
