Berks & Bucks Women’s Trophy semi-finals postponed or abandoned

Didcot Town were due to host Caversham United in the first of the two semi final games, however the Great British weather got the better of Loop Meadow and the tie was postponed.

We await confirmation on when the tie will be played with Caversham’s next free weekend not until the 22nd of March. Namely the date allocated for the final.

Meanwhile, the match on the other side of the draw with Finchampstead facing Windsor & Eton was moved to a 3G to guarantee the game went ahead. A feisty affair between the two saw Finchampstead 4-2 up until the game was abandoned at the 82nd minute following an injury to Windsor forward Emma Donovan.

We await confirmation on whether or not the game will need to be replayed.

The final is due to take place at Penn & Tyler’s Green on Sunday 22nd of March.
