Slough Town’s home FA Cup Second Round tie with Macclesfield will be broadcast live on TNT Sports, the Football Association has confirmed.

The Rebels will face the Silkmen at Arbour Park on Sunday 7th December – a 12:30 kick-off – which will be screened on TNT Sports 2 and discovery+.

The match is one of eight to be screened by the digital broadcaster while the BBC Two will show the matches between Sutton United and Shrewsbury Town on Saturday as well as Boreham Wood vs Newport County on Sunday.

The Rebels reached the Second Round after beating their National League opponents Altrincham on Saturday with a 2-0 first half lead through new boy Ansu Janneh and Wiktor Makowski before Alty substitute James Gale pulled one back with under half an hour to go.

These clubs will receive a payment for either winning or losing their tie, and those involved in a live television broadcast fixture will receive an additional £60,000 fee.
