Magpies will host League One side if they can get past Taunton Town on Tuesday night

The 2024/25 FA Cup First Round Proper draw has thrown up an EFL League One challenge for Maidenhead United should they progress through a replay.

The Magpies host Taunton Town of the Southern League Premier Division South on Tuesday night at York Road in an FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay with the prize of a home tie with Crawley Town on offer.

Reece Smith scored for Maidenhead in Somerset on Saturday but his goal was cancelled out late in the second half by Taunton’s David Duru.

Meanwhile, Reading FC’s current status as an League One side means the Royals are now part of the First Round draw and Ruben Selles’ side drew Fleetwood Town at home.

  • Reading FC vs Fleetwood Town
  • Taunton Town OR Maidenhead United v Crawley Town

FA Cup First Round ties are due to be played over the weekend of Friday 1st and Monday 4th November.
