England ‘C’ will play Nepal in a prestigious friendly international game at Aldershot Town on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May.

The game is part of a ‘visit from the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to help raise the profile of football to the Nepalese community in England and increase participation from the wider south Asian communities,’ according to the Football Association (FA).

The game is being played at Aldershot’s EBB Stadium in part due to the large Nepalese community in the North Hampshire town including Gurkha Regiments based at the Aldershot Garrison.

Neil Cassar, chief executive of Hampshire FA said: “We very much look forward to working with the FA, Army FA and Aldershot Town FC in hosting the match between the England C Team and Nepal National Team at the EBB Stadium. This is a prestigious match for the region and will strengthen our community engagement programmes in and around the Aldershot and Rushmoor area.”

Tickets for the match are available through the Aldershot Town website here.
