Chelsea Women youngster Aimee Claypole touched down in Portugal this week with the Blues superstar squad for pre season training.
Bracknell-born Claypole was part of a squad that included England stars Lauren James and Fran Kirby as well as Australia captain Sam Kerr that has headed for a training camp ahead of the FA WSL kick off.
According to a highlights video on the Chelsea website, prior to flying out to Portugal, Claypole featured in her clubs 3-2 win over AS Roma at Kingsmeadow.
Last season Claypole made several First Team appearances including one at Reading FC Women in the FA Cup where she replaced Norweigen international Guro Reiten on 65 minutes. She had made her FA WSL debut for the Blues last season against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Chelsea open the FA WSL season on Sunday 1st October at Stamford Bridge against Tottenham Hotspur.
