Bracknell Town have announced that popular midfielder Darryl Sanders will not be remaining at the club next season.

The club stated on twitter that “Unfortunately due to a change in work commitments Darryl Sanders , has departed. We would like to thank him for the past year and we all wish him the best for next season.”

Sanders is a talented attacking midfielder and has wasted no time in securing his next move. He will play next season for Farnham Town in the Combined Counties Premier South where he will have the opportunity for a quick return to Bottom Meadow when he plays against Sandhurst Town there in the league.

Farnham are an ambitious club and have also signed the experienced former Slough and Bracknell Town defender Guy Hollis. If that wasn’t impressive enough they’ve also secured a club partnership with Brewdog.

The former Bedfont Sports midfielder played forty times for Bracknell Town this season, scoring twelve goals. He also put in two excellent performances during the Southern League playoffs where Bracknell Town narrowly missed out to Truro City.

The Robins have announced their pre-season schedule with all their fixtures being away due to pitch works at Bottom Meadow. They will face Binfield, Gloucester City, Chertsey Town, Enfield Town, Hartley Wintney and Slough Town with one fixture remaining to be arranged.
