Relegated Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town have moved quickly to confirm their manager for the 2923/24 season.

Removing any scope for speculation, the Crusaders have extended the contract of boss Danny Robinson.

The FA Vase winning former Thatcham Town boss will start a fourth season in charge of Hungerford when they begin what we expect to be a Southern League campaign.

On signing a contract extension, Robinson said: “I’ve always said Hungerford Town is a very special club with some really wonderful people and that is why I am delighted to say that after tonight’s meeting I’ve agreed my contract extension to stay. I am really looking forward to the future and what is about to come”.

The latest Berkshire Football Stories podcast features outgoing Hungerford chairman Pat Chambers time with the club and covers a lot of Danny’s time in charge.
