Aimee Claypole back on home soil in FA Cup

More minutes for youngster in Chelsea first team

It was another moment for Chelsea’s Aimee Claypole in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on Sunday afternoon as she played the final 25 minutes of the 3-1 win.

The Bracknell born youngster replaced Norweigen international Guro Reiten on 65 minutes, having made her FA WSL debut for the Blues recently against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Claypole played in the FA Cup last season, but this was a special moment as she took the field against the club she played Youth football for, Reading FC Women.

It was another moment in the career path for the forward who will undoubtedly get more opportunities for Emma Hayes side.
