What is the England C team?
The team was known previously as the National Game XI and England Semi Pro national team and is made up of the best English players who ply their trade outside of the Football League.
They regularly play under 23 sides and as well as the home nations have played games against the likes of Ukraine, Slovakia and Turkey.
Providing a platform for non-league players to play international football, the team has given caps to players who have gone on into the professional game like Sam Clucas, Andre Gray, Barry Hayles, Steve Guppy and Nick Crittenden.
The team is managed by Paul Fairclough, the former Stevenage Borough and Barnet manager.
