Three Berkshire sides are in the hat for the 2022/23 FA Trophy Fifth Round following a ‘Super Saturday’ that saw Maidenhead United, Bracknell Town and Hungerford Town advance.
Maidenhead United upset the form book with a 2-0 win at Vanarama National League rivals Dagenham & Redbridge while Bracknell Town had to wait until the final moment for a Jack Dean looping strike to earn a fourth National League scalp of the season – beating Bath City 1-0.
Meanwhile Hungerford Town were possibly underdogs in their game against Southern League leaders Tamworth, but edged it 2-1 thanks to a second-half goal from Bristol Rovers loanee Ryan Jones.

The draw for the last 16 – the FA Trophy Fifth Round, is at 3pm on TalkSport 2.
The field has certainly narrowed for clubs hoping to reach Wembley with big National League hitters Wrexham and Notts County all exiting over the weekend. Barnet are now the highest-placed side left in the competition.
Who’s left in the FA Trophy Fifth Round draw?
There are 19 sides left in the competition with three FA Trophy Fourth Round games to be played this week. They are Altrincham, Aldershot Town, Bracknell Town, Maidenhead United, Dorking Wanderers, Eastleigh, Farsley Celtic, Gateshead, Hungerford Town, Barnet, Southend United, York City, Maidstone United, Banbury United and Coalville Town (20th January), Harrow Borough and FC Halifax Town (17th January), Torquay United and Taunton Town (17th January).
