You’ve battled your way from the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round through three games, you’ve seen off league rivals and teams from the division below.

What’s next? A proper away day at a Vanarama National League side surely?

That’s what’s on offer in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round draw which takes place at 1pm on Monday 5th September for the likes of Bracknell Town and Binfield.

There are four Berkshire sides in this season’s Second Qualifying Round with Hungerford Town and Slough Town joining the competition for the first time, they could of course all draw each other which wouldn’t be terrible, but as we start to get to the real meat of the early rounds, it’s big away days against teams you wouldn’t normally face that get supporters going.

The 48 teams from the National League North and South come into play at this point and while regionalisation means it’s unlikely any of our sides will get that trip to the coast with Southport, it’s not impossible.
