When the 2022/23 FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw takes place

Depending on when you click on this article, the weekends 2022/23 Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round fixtures are on the horizon, underway or concluded.

So the next question on your mind will surely be: ‘When will we find out who we play in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round?’

Well, thankfully Football in Berkshire is here for you. We know the answer, and it’s almost always the same year after year. And there will be Berkshire representation regardless of whether any of our sides win their Preliminary Round matches at the weekend.

Firstly, because Holyport face Ascot United over the weekend in a Berkshire derby, but secondly, Southern League Premier Bracknell Town will be in the draw for the first time having been exempt from the opening rounds because of the Robin’s new Step 3 status.

When the FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw will take place

Subject to Bank Holidays, the draws for subsequent rounds of the FA Cup always take place at the same time until television and radio become interested in the competition.
