With the 2022/2023 season rapidly approaching, there has been some movement amongst clubs within the Allied Counties Youth Football League.

With news following the end of the season that Buckingham Athletic, Fleet Town, CB Hounslow United, Risborough Rangers & Uxbridge FC will be moving on to new challenges, the Allied Counties Youth Football League welcome nine new clubs hoping for success this coming season.

Abingdon United
Abingdon United have teamed up with Procision Football Academy and will be looking to use the Allied Counties as a stepping stone for their young talent to push for senior places in the coming seasons.

Binfield FC
After the success of their Under 18 squad of last season, winning both the U18 East Berkshire League & the EBFA cup, Binfield have moved over to the Allied Counties league and look to continue their success and development at youth level.

Camberley Town FC
Moving from the Isthmian Youth League across to the Allied Counties and off the back of retaining the Rayner Challenge Cup last season, Camberley should prove to be a great addition to the league and will no doubt be looking to challenge for more silverware at U18 level.

Eversley & California FC
Another newly created team for the 2022/23 season which has drawn in a lot of interest in the surrounding areas to Eversley. With two young, energetic and very ambitious coaches at the helm in Ed Jackson-Sankey & Max Scott, the club will be eager to attract some great talent and develop these young players & coaches for senior roles in the near future.

Godalming Town FC
Combined Counties Youth league West runners up Godalming will be making the move across to Allied Counties for the 2022/23 season. It is all change over at Godalming in terms of playing personnel as the previous U18 side moves up into the development squad. This gives fresh talent a chance at establishing themselves within a great club and the prospect of playing senior football in the near future.

Hampton & Richmond Borough
Hampton & RB U18’s move into the Allied Counties from The Bostik Youth & National League Academy Division. This academy team combines education and football where players study towards NCFE Level 3 extended diploma in sport as well as playing competitive youth football with a clear route to a reputable Non-League football club.

Penn & Tylers Green
The Buckinghamshire club reintroduce a team into the Allied Counties and are looking to strengthen its youth set-up. With a new management structure for the senior section of the club, the U18’s will be keen to impress this coming season in search for some senior appearances.

Rayners Lane FC
The post-season break has seen Rayners Lane work extensively to build a talented pool of U18 talent for the coming Allied Counties season. Trails have been taking place under the watchful eye of former Jamaican international, Damien Francis. Francis will be looking to develop a strong group of players and will be expecting them to challenge at the highest level during the forthcoming season. A team to watch.

Tring Athletic
Moving from the ‘East Junior Alliance’, Tring Athletic have registered an U18’s team into the Allied Counties for the 2022/23 season. It is proven that the structure at the club from U18’s to reserve and First team levels work and therefore the U18 squad will be very keen to impress in order to secure their chance at senior level.
