The FA Cup Second Qualifying Round ties affecting Berkshire

Slough Town and Hungerford Town enter the competition

Saturday saw Berkshire’s two step 4 sides and one remaining step 5 side exit the FA Cup at the First Qualifying Round stage.

Binfield, Bracknell Town and Thatcham Town all exited the competition, but Berkshire interest in the tournament continues with the addition of the step 2 sides at the Second Qualifying Round stage.

Vanarama National League sides Slough Town and Hungerford Town were waiting to be draw out of the hat.

The Berkshire FA Cup Second Qualifying Round draw

Sutton Athletic OR Flackwell Heath vs Slough Town
Poole Town vs Hungerford Town

Ties are to be played on the weekend of Saturday 21st September 2019.

The draw marks a return to a former club for Hungerford striker James Constable who will face Poole Town while the ‘fairytale’ could continue for Flackwell Heath.

Another tie of note see’s Combined Counties League Premier Division side Badshot Lea (who beat Ascot United in the Extra Preliminary Round) face BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division side Hayes & Yeading United.
