There are only three competitive fixtures in the county with plenty of our sides on the road but FiB will be in attendance at the Rivermoor as Reading City kick off against Shrivenham.

The full weekend fixture list is available here with Slough Town and Sandhurst Town also at home. And don’t forget the fan previews if you haven’t seen them yet. National League preview here and step 5 preview here.

Hellenic League

Not the ideal opener travel wise for Binfield who head to a Brimscombe & Thrupp in the Premier Division but the Moles have been the beneficiaries of a summer of change at Bracknell Town.

Manager Roger Herridge has signed Jamie McClurg, Carl Davies and Sean Moore from the Robins but has said has injury concerns with two of the trio out.

Speaking to Football in Berkshire, Herridge said: “It will be a tough game against one of the title favourites. Moore and McClurg are injured. Johnny Hathaway is not available and Jemel Johnson is getting minutes elsewhere as he returns to fitness.

“I will have a 16 year old ex QPR schoolboy in squad plus 18 year old ex Reading school boy Joel Valentin and 18 year Eddie Lee completes trio of graduates from our Allied Counties side in 16 man squad.”

Over at Reading City, manager Simon Johnson says he has nine potential debutants in the squad for Saturday’s visit of Shrivenham.

He added: “Late signing Matt Stockhill, a signing from Windsor goes straight into the squad.”

Meanwhile Windsor have appointed a new captain ahead of their trip to unknown Westfields in Luke Appleton.

National League

Hungerford Town manager Ian Herring leads his side away to Hemel Hempstead Town in the National League South and said: “Fully fit squad to choose from. George Smith unfortunately unavailable.”

Slough Town host newly promoted Dorking Wanderers with manager Neil Baker calling them ‘dark horses’. In terms of team news he said to the Rebels website: “In terms of squad news, it is fairly common knowledge that we will be missing Mark Nisbet, Josh Jackman, George Wells, Dan Roberts and Joe Grant, however the other players with little knocks that we had concerns over have all trained with no reactions this week.

“We have added young Scott Armsworth to the squad, and we will see how he gets on over the next few weeks”

“There will be debuts for Ethan Burden, Rory Merrick and Ian Davies and Jon Bennett will be making his official return tomorrow.”

In Combined Counties League Division One Eversley & California head to Walton & Hersham. Manager Matty Angell said: “Last night we announced Ali Dickie as our captain for the season, Cameron Blackie has come in from Badshot Lea, no injury concerns at the moment and Darnell Francis is back in contention for a start.”

Sandhurst Town manager Michael Herbert also has a couple of new signings ahead of the visit of Tooting Bec.
