It was always going to be an away day for Bracknell Town in the Preliminary Round of the FA Trophy, but on Tuesday night the Robins discovered their opponents.

Bracknell were due to play the winners of the Extra Preliminary Round tie between Ashford United and Haywards Heath Town but the two sides shared eight goals on Saturday in a 4-4 draw.

There were more goals in the replay on Tuesday night but this time it was 3-0 to Haywards Heath who will now host Bracknell on Saturday 13th October 2018.

As far as we can tell, the two sides haven’t met before in competitive action with Haywards Heath now in their first season at step 4. Heath play in the South East Division of the Bostik League and are at the same level in the English Football Pyramid as Bracknell.
