Windsor kick-off their 2018/19 Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division season with a big away day to fancied Gloucestershire side Brimscombe & Thrupp.

The side – who still don’t have a nickname we can inject in to the these reports – haven’t exactly had a perfect pre season with manager Mick Woodham resigning and then returning a week later.

Woodham is now back in the dug out and has signed impressive Bracknell Town youngster Dan Roberts on dual registration but a trip to the West of England probably wasn’t high up anyone’s list of priorities for a season opener.

Windsor will have a delayed entry to the FA Vase of course, their trip to last seasons Quarter Finals earning them a bye to the Second Round this year but now know their opening four fixtures.

Windsor’s Hellenic League Premier Division fixtures

  • 04/08/18 Brimscombe & Thrupp vs Windsor (ko 3pm)
  • 07/08/18 Windsor vs Shrivenham (ko 7.45pm)
  • 11/08/18 Windsor vs Highworth Town Stag Meadow (FA CUP – ko 3pm)
  • 14/08/18 Fairford Town vs Windsor (ko 7.45pm)
