It was a tense second half for Sandhurst Town’s youth team on Monday night but they survived a fightback to lift the Allied Counties Youth League Premier Division title with a 7-3 win at North Greenford United.
The Fizzers raced to a 4-0 lead in the first half but struggling North Greenford hit back to go in at half time 4-2 and made it 4-3 shortly after the restart.
Sandhurst beat five time champions Maidenhead United on Wednesday night meaning a win at North Greenford would hand them the title in the final game.

The fightback ensured a tense start to the second half but the Fizzers – who have won 14 of their 20 league games this seasons – applied the pressure and ran away with two goals in quick succession to effectively end the tie and any lingering hope Maidenhead had of extending their title run to six seasons.
