Binfield’s youth team move one step closer to promotion to the Allied Counties Youth League Premier Division if they can pick up three points at home to Windsor on Thursday night at Hill Farm Lane (ko 7.45pm).
The Moles lead the table by three points from Camberley Town but have a game in hand over the Krooners though both sides can still be caught by Westfield who have five games left to play.
Both Binfield and Camberley – coached by Hellenic Division 1 East golden boot winner Charlie Oakley – have vied for the title all season and have both taken points off each other but the Moles superior home record has planted them firmly at the top of the tree.
John Polston’s side have lost just one game at Hill Farm Lane this season in comparison to Camberley’s three defeats at Krooner Park while the Moles have a superior goal difference of 21 over the young Krooners.
Added to the mix is the race for the golden boot which see’s Binfield’s Eddie Lee top the chart with 18 league goals to Camberley’s Luke Haskell and Westfield’s Adam Khan with 16 each.

Editors note: An earlier version of this article suggested Binfield could win the title tonight. That was incorrect due to the number of games Westfield still have to play.
