It’s catch up time for Bracknell Town as they make the trip to Ardley United in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League on Tuesday night (ko 7.45pm).

Here’s what to expect from tonight’s only Premier Division match:

Expectation

Suddenly there is an expectation on Bracknell who can top the league on Saturday night if they win this and the match at Burnham on Saturday – the last time Bracknell topped the table was after consecutive 4-1 wins at the start of the 2013/14 season.

Binfield’s win at home to Thame United on Monday night has put the ball firmly in the Robins court and the trip to Ardley will be a great test as to whether Mark Tallentire’s men can shoulder that burden.

Should Bracknell prevail in both fixtures it sets things up very nicely for the Larges Lane return in seven days against Binfield.

A different Ardley

A shaky start to the season for the sky blues has turned into a very solid one in October and November.

United won five of 14 games in the opening two months of the season but won seven and drew two of their 12 games in October and November.

Injury concerns

12 goal TJ Bohane has missed the last two games for Bracknell after a rough and tumble 90 minutes against Thatcham Town but should be back for the Robins, as should Chris Grace who missed Saturday’s trip to Shrivenham.

Seb Bowerman has dropped to the bench for the last two matches after tireless displays, but that didn’t stop him scoring all four Bracknell goals on Saturday while Joe Grant’s impressive form should help him keep his place.

There may also be a place on the bench for young full-back George Lock who has returned to Larges Lane after a short spell at Binfield.
