One Berkshire side left in the Buildbase FA Vase this season and it’s Ascot United who travel to the south coast to face Newhaven in the Second Round Proper – and our man Mark Pugh is joining them.

Highworth Town, Brimscombe & Thrupp, Tuffley Rovers and Thatcham Town are also representing the Hellenic League in this seasons competition.

Wokingham & Emmbrook have a platform to build on after the 4-3 win over Woodley and the re-signing of James Charlton in midweek.

The Sumas travel to second placed Bicester Town where a win could hoist Clive McNelly’s side up to 7th in the table.

AFC Aldermaston are also on the road at Chalfont Wasps (ko 2.15pm) looking to end a run of two defeats. The isotopes have had a terrific first season in the Hellenic League sit in fifth.
