Enterprise National League South Slough Town have announced the departure of manager Alan Julian.
The Rebels have lost all six opening games of the season and Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Braintree Town at Arbour Park was Julian’s final game.
A statement released by the club said: “Slough Town Football Club can confirm that the Club has parted ways with Men’s First Team Manager Alan Julian with immediate effect.
“Assistant Manager Donovan Chislett also leaves the Club with immediate effect.”
A post on the club website included comment from Slough Town CEO Ashley Smith, who said: “Alan is an extraordinary individual who brought complete professionalism and deep commitment to our club every single day. The level of care and dedication he showed to the players, staff, and community was remarkable.
“I am genuinely gutted that things haven’t worked out the way we all hoped. Alan and Don leave with our sincere respect and gratitude, and I wish them both the absolute best in their next chapter.”
