Newbury FC returning to Thames Valley Premier League

The West Berkshire side are leaving the Hellenic League

Newbury are headed back to the Thames Valley Premier League after beating all before them in the Hellenic League.

The West Berkshire side spent six seasons in the Premier and First divisions before spending two in the Hellenic League Division Two East, the last of which saw them win all 20 games.

According to a Tweet posted by the club, the search for a new ground has also come to an end.

The move means the West Berkshire side are back in the National League System (NLS) and are able to be promoted up and down the divisions.

The club have arranged pre season friendlies against Yateley United, Finchampstead and Eversley & California amongst others.
