A list of Step 7 across England who have applied to play at Step 6 has appeared online this afternoon.

Thames Valley Premier League side Berks County are included amongst the sides applying for Step 6 next season. According to this list, they are the only club who have applied from the league.

Lyne FC, who have been ground sharing at Ascot United, have also applied for promotion. They play in the Surrey Elite Intermediate League.

There are some excellent club names on the list. Our favourites are Infinity FC, Faversham Strikeforce, Stockport Georgians, Montpellier Villa, Lincoln Moorlands Railway and London Samurai Rovers.

Applications for Step 7 promotion to Step 6, as posted on the excellent NonLeagueMatters forum.
