Harvey Rackley-Hayes is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Player of the Season (Male) sponsored by Grundon Waste Management.
The Swords look play-off bound in the Combined Counties League Division One and Rackley-Hayes has been almost ever present between the sticks this season with only Max Wyld and Shaquille Johnson ahead of him in the appearances stats.
One nomination we received for the award said: “Harvey is a dedicated and vocal goalkeeper commanding teams from the back. He’s supportive of players and will spend time talking to supporters and all players and officials.
“Harvey has made 43 appearances for Berks County this season, all starts and has one man of the match under his belt.”
Another added: “Harvey has consistently managed his goal with both presence and pure determination. The way Harvey commands the best from his team, along with his distribution and goal techniques, makes him a standout nominee for me.”
A third simply said: “Harvey has stepped up many a times helping berks county towards play-offs this season and get through two tough rounds of the FA Vase.”
