Binfield striker Liam Ferdinand has been awarded the clubs player of the month award for January.

‘Ferdi’ played in all three games that survived the weather and scored four goals – all of them in the 5-2 League Cup win over Sandhurst Town.

The Moles 31 goal top scorer has a record of just under a goal a game having made 32 appearances for Roger Herridge’s side this season and is eighth in the race for the Hellenic Premier Division golden boot having scored 19 goals in 25 league games.

It is Ferdinand’s second season at Hill Farm Lane after joining from Flackwell Heath in the 2015/16 season – he scored 22 goals in 30 games for the Moles last term.

The Moles player of the month for December was centre back Gary Smith – the award is voted for by the clubs supporters.
