Binfield defender Gary Smith picked up the clubs Player of the Month Award for December following his sides relatively straightforward 5-0 win over Longlevens on Saturday at Hill Farm Lane.
Smith – rarely troubled in Saturday’s routine victory – featured in all six of Binfield’s matches in December and has played nine matches in total since joining Roger Herridge’s side from Ascot United. The Moles won three, drew one and lost two of their games during the period.
The impressive centre-back made 14 appearances for Ascot before moving across town and has previously played for Bracknell Town and Henley Town amongst others.

The award is voted for by the club supporters and Smith was offered a hearty ‘well done’ by the clubs chairman Bob Bacon in a post match tweet.
