The ‘worst trainer’ forfeit isn’t new to football teams – particularly in pre season, but Finchampstead’s first team players have taken things to a new level.

Our recent focus on Finch has uncovered their own poor trainer award which involves sharing a photograph on social media with stuffed crying with laughter emoji.

So far the forfeit – devised by captain Adam Barnard and Sam Green – has seen James Pople and Freddie Barron (above) pictured with the emoji on a building site and a warehouse.

We look forward to the @FinchFirsts1 twitter account keeping us up to date with these emoji sitings, we’ll certainly be updating this page with them each week.

In the meantime..
