No Berkshire side has ever reached the Final of the FA Trophy, in part because the competition was only open to the top tiers of non-league football. Slough Town and Wokingham Town hold the record for going the furthest in the competition. Slough reached the Semi’s in 1977 losing 6-2 on aggregate to Dagenham and again in 1998 when they lost 2-1 over two legs to Southport. Wokingham reached the Semi-Final in 1988 losing 3-0 on aggregate to Telford United.
