Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper: Everything you need to know from draw date and time to teams by

The draw for the 2025/26 Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper is due on Monday after another fantastic weekend of cup football.

The biggest game locally is arguably Reading FC Women at home to Arbour Park in the Third Qualifying Round, although perhaps Maidenhead United under Dave Kitson at home to Worthing pushes them close.

The giant killers thus far in this season’s competition – Ashridge Park – face the biggest day in the clubs short history when they visit South London. Can Lauren Broadhurst (pictured) work her magic again?

Who’s in the Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper draw?

24 clubs from the Women’s National League Premier Division will join at the FA Cup First Round Proper stage.

The clubs joining are: AFC Bournemouth, AFC Wimbledon, Billericay Town, Burnley, Cheltenham Town, Derby County, Exeter City, Gwalia United, Halifax, Hashtag United, Hull City, Lewes, Liverpool Feds, Loughborough Lightning, Middlesbrough, Oxford United, Plymouth Argyle, Real Bedford, Rugby Borough, Sporting Khalsa, Stoke City, Watford, West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As it stands, Ascot United, Maidenhead United, Reading and Ashridge Park are all ‘in the hat’ for the First Round Proper draw.

When is the Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper draw?

The draw for Women’s FA Cup First Round Proper will take place live on Monday 6th October at 7pm, it will streamed live on the Adobe Women’s FA Cup YouTube channel.

When will First Round Proper matches be played, and what is the prize money on offer?

The clubs that win their Women’s FA Cup First Round matches will be due £6,000 each while the losing sides will receive £1,500.

Having won two games already in the competition this season, Ashridge Park have already netted £4,800 for their efforts. A win at South London in the Third Qualifying Round will double that money with £4,000 on offer to the winners.

Women’s FA Cup First Round matches are due to take place on the weekend of Sunday 26 October 2025.
