The 2025/26 women’s football pyramid allocations in Berkshire

Whilst the crux of our Berkshire squads battle it out in Tier 7, we have six teams flying the flag for the county at Tiers 4, 5 and 6 of the women’s football pyramid and allocations for the 2025/26 season have been published.

Women’s National League

Division One South West

Ascot United will begin their National League campaign for the first time in club history. Meanwhile Maidenhead United will commence their eleventh season in the division. The Magpies finished eighth of twelves teams in the 2024/25 season.

Southern Region Women’s Football League

Premier Division

Reading will begin their second season in the Premier Division of the SRWFL and will once again face off against Woodley United who will enter into their third season in the division after promotion in the 2022/23 season. The Royals finished eighth of ten teams in the division, whilst Woodley secured sixth in the 2024/25 season.

Division One North

Ascot United Reserves will once more compete in Division One North having finished third last season, and will compete alongside fellow Berkshire side Slough Town. The Rebels finished ninth in the eleven team division.

We unfortunately bid a farewell to Caversham United who were relegated from the Division One North on the final day of the season, but we expect to see them fighting for promotion in Division One of the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League in the 2025/26 season.
