Former Bracknell Town striker Aaron McLeish-White has announced his retirement at the age of 37.

McLeish-White was part of the Bracknell’s all-conquering Isthmian League South Central Division One side in 2021/22, joining in February to bolster the Robins juggernaut.

McLeish-White scored on his debut after joining from Ashford Town (Middlesex) with Football in Berkshire writing: “Meanwhile, on the pitch, any concerns of a Robins wobble after defeat to Chertsey Town two weeks ago were quickly brushed aside as Bracknell’s new signing from Ashford Town (Middlesex) Aaron McLeish-White scored twice on his debut to give Bobby Wilkinson’s side a 2-0 win at Chipstead.”

The forward went on to score six times for the champions including once against his former club.

McLeish-White departed in the summer of 2022 for Marlow, making 39 appearances in total for the Blues before a return to Ashford Town in the summer of 2024.

Writing on social media, McLeish-White said: “Dear football, from being a 16 year old boy getting my first taste of men’s football playing the last two or three games at the end of the season for Hendon FC under Dave Anderson (I doubt he remembers me or that) to the highest I ever played which was playing the Conference South as it was called back then as a 20 year old at Thurrock.

“Now it’s time for me to watch this generation of non-league ballers and say rubbish comments like ‘I would of scored that chance’ or ‘back in my day players would never go down that easy!'”

The Football in Berkshire team would like to wish Aaron all the best in his retirement.
