Binfield have announced manager Ross Weatherstone will take some time away from the Moles dugout to focus on recovery from surgery following a skin cancer diagnosis.

A statement from the Moles said: First team manager, Ross Weatherstone will be taking a break from the sidelines while he recovers from surgery for the skin cancer he’s been diagnosed with.

Ross’ procedure means that he won’t be present on matchdays but will be in constant communication with the squad while Andy Bullett and Keith Pennicott-Bowen take on first team operations in his absence.

Everyone at Binfield wishes Ross a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him back with the first
team in the near future.

We’re all with you boss.

The Football in Berkshire team would like to wish Ross and his family the very best and we hope to see him back in the dugout soon.
