Scott Davies is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Manager of the Season (Men’s Game).

The Rebels boss has looked more than capable of steering the Vanarama National League South side both on and off the pitch, combining playing (and scoring) with management – as well as another FA Cup run to the First Round Proper.

The nomination we received for this award said: “Football is littered with managers who’ve failed trying to follow up a dynasty. The house that Bakes and Unders built though is in no danger of falling with Scott Davies in charge.

“He’s given the fans even more incredible FA Cup memories. He’s scored some incredible goals as well and he’s brought in players who are packing out the ground, but most importantly whenever I’ve spoken to him he’s been a thoroughly nice bloke.

The Rebels probably aren’t going to make the play-offs this season, but the club appears safe in Davies’s hands.”

Agree that Scott Davies should be up for the Manager of the Season (Men’s Game) award? Or do you have someone else in mind? Let us know in the nomination form below:
