Woodley United’s Sarah Lawrence up for Berkshire Football Award is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Player of the Season (Female).
Lawrence was on the shortlist for this award last season – showing not insignificant consistency, finishing runner-up to Maidenhead United’s Kajal Malhotra.
The nomination we received for the award said: “Sarah (Sez) had a great season last season finishing top scorer in the team and she has continued that this season. Stepping up a division has not phased her. She always gives 100% and works hard for the team in whatever position she plays in. She is quick, great on the ball and a great character to have in the team. Again she has finished as top scorer for the team.”
