Vanarama National League Slough Town have extended the contract of manager Scott Davies.

Davies, a former professional at Reading FC and Wycombe Wanderers, has been in charge at Arbour Park since the departure of long-serving managers Neil Baker and Jon Underwood last season.

A statement by the Rebels revealed Davies’ contract had been extended to the summer of 2026: “The club has gone from strength to strength in 2023/24. After a difficult opening few weeks to the season, we reached the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup and forced a replay against League Two side Grimsby Town. A fine run of form since early September has seen the Rebels moving up the National League South table and flying high in the league’s form table. The club is currently on a superb run of 15 consecutive matches undefeated at home in all competitions and is the third-highest scoring club in the league.”

Davies added: “I’m over the moon to extend my stay and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Having been at the club for just under 6 years now, it’s a place that I call home. I’m comfortable in my surroundings but that doesn’t mean for one second that I’ll take my foot of the gas, it’ll make me work even harder.”

Slough are currently just three points off the last play-off spot having earned a late win over this season’s fellow FA Cup stars Maidstone United on Saturday.

The Rebels are next in action on Tuesday night away to Worthing.
