Monday 3rd October 2022 saw the FA Cup reach Fourth Qualifying Round draw stage with Berkshire sides Bracknell Town and Maidenhead United both in the hat.

The draw was made live on TalkSport 2 after 3:15pm and pitched both Berkshire clubs at home.

For Bracknell Town it is their fifth appearance in the Fourth Qualifying Round with one previous win while most seasons these days Maidenhead United begin their campaign at this stage and have reached the FA Cup First Round Proper eight times since 2006 without going any further.

So what’s the Berkshire focussed FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw?

  • Bracknell Town vs Banbury United
  • Maidenhead United vs Eastbourne Borough

The full FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw is here.

A curious tie for Bracknell this one, they face Step 2 opposition in Banbury United from Oxfordshire, but by virtue of geography the Puritans are a Vanarama National League North side – presently sitting in second.

Maidenhead United will be favourites for their tie with Eastbourne Borough of the Nationa League South, but Magpies fans will certainly be aware that has been no guarantee of progress.
