They’ve broken club records, finished in a record high position and now FA Women’s National League side Maidenhead United Women are looking for a new manager to take them on to the next level.

The Magpies – who play at the fourth tier of women’s football in England – are on the hunt again after Kieren Beesley stepped aside.

After finishing sixth last time out, Maidenhead are aiming to go higher and face the likes of AFC Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Swindon Town as well as Portishead, Moneyfields and Selsey in their bid to achieve that.

A statement on the Maidenhead United website said: “Manager Kieran Beesley has recently stepped down after a short period in charge of the side and the club are keen to appoint a new manager as soon as possible to work with a skilled, motivated and hard-working group of players who have achieved such success in recent times. Interested candidates are invited to send their CV to mulfc_fixtures@hotmail.com.”
