The Bracknell & District Sunday League has had a little bit of a makeover, over the summer with a brand new logo launched to represent the competition.

Long without any visible ‘brand’ online, or on social media, the competition – which is fast approaching its 60th birthday – now has a shiny new badge designed by one of its own players.

Justin Horton, who plays for Finchampstead Athletic Sunday A in Division Three, was approached by Football in Berkshire to come up with a badge based on a brief supplied by the league.

The badge, importantly, includes the stag and tree, used to depict the environment in the Borough of Bracknell (Swinley) Forest as well as the date the League was first established (1963).

Keith Thomas, the League’s Chairman, said that “The badge provides the League with a fresh new look that reflects quite well the area that we operate in. Thanks to Justin for creating the badge and FiB for arranging its design for us.”
