Ascot United take on Guildford City on Tuesday night in their first home game of the season as football returns to the Racecourse Ground.

The Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division fixture will be the first at the redeveloped venue that now boasts an artificial pitch.

To mark the occasion the club are offering free entry to supporters, and as a bonus have captain Louis Bouwers back for selection as well as long throw aficionado Chris Ellis.

Ascot manager Jamie Tompkins said: “Louis Bouwers and Chris Ellis return after injury and suspension, plus we have a few more players returning to the squad in time for our FA Vase game this Friday.”

Eversley & California go in to Tuesday nights Southern Combination Cup tie at home to Staines Lammas in good shape.

Manager Matt Angell said: “I’m pleased to welcome back Cameron Blackie, Josh Francis and Jamie Griggs into the squad and happy to confirm we have made a new signing in time for tonight’s game with left sided Adam Nditi joining the club after a period away from the game.”

Bracknell Town have a couple of injury concerns ahead of Wednesday nights Velocity Trophy Group 5 tie at home to Hanwell Town.

New goalkeeper James Holden will definitely be out (Football in Berkshire have contacted Reading FC for an update) while boss Sam Lock revealed Seb Bowerman would not be risked after being forced off towards the end of Saturday’s win over FC Romania.
