Windsor’s new manager is a VERY familiar face

The Stag Meadow club have moved swiftly to appoint a new manager

It’s a case of meet the new boss, same as the old boss for Windsor FC as they confirmed their new manager on Wednesday.

Mick Woodham has been reappointed at Stag Meadow after what the Windsor Observer called a ‘sensible grown up discussion’ between chairman Kevin Stott and Woodham on Tuesday night.

The Observer’s Rob Stevens reports – and you can read the full article here – that Stott said: “What was said last week was a surprise to me and not a reflection on what I believe was the relationship we had.

“I think a bit of pressure had built up on Mick toward the end of last season and sometimes you lose a bit of perspective.”

The pair have now patched up their differences it seems and Woodham will return to the dugout with Ashley Smith reverting to number two having initially stepped up as interim manager.
