It was raining goals as the Bank Holiday weekend got underway with Windsor v Fairford Town aside, every other match resulting in at least four goals.

Bracknell Town maintained their unbeaten start putting Woodley United to the sword with six unanswered goals courtesy of Jon Bennett, Josh Hennah, Adam Cornell and Joe Grant before two from Seb Bowerman including a penalty.

Binfield drew 2-2 at home to Highmoor Ibis with the visitors ending the match with eight men following three dismissals, two of which came in stoppage time.

Josh Millar and Josh Howell scored for the Moles whilst Mitchell Parker continued his fine start to the season netting Ibis’ first with former Reading scholar Trevor Mutero netting the other.

Windsor and Fairford played out a 1-1 draw as both sides ended with ten men thanks to two first half red cards including the Royalists Hayden Clack.

Lee Smith looked to have earned the points for the visitors but Barry Hayles popped up with a late leveller for his second goal this term.

Wokingham & Emmbrook continued their perfect start defeating Bicester Town 3-2.

Matthew Lambert put the Sumas ahead before Ben Knight doubled the advantage. An action-packed first half saw the home side reduced to ten men before Elliott Powell netted a penalty just before half time

Sam Lawrence scored the winning penalty after the hosts had equalised in a match where goalkeeper Ashley East went off injured with left back Jordan Blake taking his place – and keeping a clean sheet!

New boys Virginia Water join the Sumas (and Penn & Tylers Green) on the maximum nine points from nine as they beat Didcot Town Reserves.

Jake Baker and Josh Hill scored along with an own goal and the Waters can be very happy with their start in a new division.

The highest scoring match saw Sandhurst Town comfortably defeat Holyport 6-1.

Sean Delfosse, Richard Hughes and Kylo Atkinson all struck in the first period before an Adam Barnard penalty made it four with Atkinson netting twice more to complete his hat-trick with a final Holyport goal proving mere consolation.
