Saturday afternoon didn’t go to plan for Bracknell Town at Tuffley Rovers in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League as they were beaten 2-1 in Gloucestershire.
There was one moment of amusement as ‘all rounder’ Callum Whitty made an unconventional clearance racing across to the left wing.

The video, posted by Mike Watkins on twitter shows Whitty racing across to clear a header by John Gray with his right boot.
We could explain more, but the video tells it wayyyyy better..

Whitty – currently the subject of a father/son voting battle on FiB – has played as a centre back for the majority of the season so far but has also deputised in goal for Chris Grace on two occasions.
The versatile Robins had the last laugh for his side mind, scoring a consolation for Bracknell in the dying seconds.

Update: In fairness to Callum – who has not complained about this article we should add – we thought we’d add the brilliant image of him at full stretch saving a penalty in the FA Vase defeat at Croydon for balance.
